Creative Invitations (ages 5+) is an opportunity for some open ended creating! We will set out a variety of open-ended arts and crafts materials for participants to explore.

Creative Invitations is (most) Fridays between 3-5pm (You can come anytime in that window). Registration is required!

FAQ

Can non-crafting siblings hang in the studio?

Our studio is small and so we ask that only registered participants come into the studio. Caregivers & non-crafting siblings are welcome to hangout on the 1st floor of the building at Eclipse Gaming Cafe. Play a game, grab a drink or a bite to eat, or just relax. Note: If your child struggles with separation and is not able to participate without you, reach out! I can accommodate if I know. (I’ve been there!)

Do caregivers need to remain in the building?

Yes, I would appreciate if caregivers remain in the building and available to help your child if needed. I will offer my assistance with projects, but if your child needs to use the bathroom or needs extra help, I will ask you to come up to support.

Do you offer accommodations for children with extra needs?

Please let me know what you and your child need to be able to participate comfortably and I will do my best to make it possible, or communicate with you if I’m not able to. I have experience with and a lot of understanding of neurodiversity and I am always open to having a conversation with you about what your family needs. Please note that our studio is on the 2nd floor.

Will you ever offering programming for children younger that 5?

I have spent a lot of time teaching children younger than 5 and I am open to setting up programming for this age again if there is enough interest. Please let me know if this is something you want! In the meantime, check out Lively Hive in Carlisle. They have lots of programming for 0-5 year olds!
