Creative Invitations (ages 5+) is an opportunity for some open ended creating! We will set out a variety of open-ended arts and crafts materials for participants to explore.
Creative Invitations is (most) Fridays between 3-5pm (You can come anytime in that window). Registration is required!

Connect with other creatives during our FREE Creative Coworking Event! Bring a creative project to work on (something that can be done at a table and contained within your space, without causing too much of a mess) and BYOB. If you don’t have a creative project, we have some available for purchase and we always have coloring pages available for free.

Build Your Own Arrangement Flower Bar
Join Guest Creative Krista Armour of Miss Kays Flower Co for a fun night of bouquet building! Perfect night out with your besties.
Krista will bring an assortment of flowers and guide participants through building a perfect bouquet. Each bouquet will include roses and an assortment of seasonal flowers and greens.

Men’s Make & Mingle
Connect with other men over a creative project! In our busy lives, it can be hard to make new friendships as an adult! Join us for our first men’s make and mingle. Meet other dudes, chat, and paint. This event is for 21+ and is BYOB. We’ll have conversation starters available too to get things rolling.

Parent + Child Make & Mingle
Connect with your kid over a project! Join us in-studio for this fun Caregiver/Child bird-house painting event! This is a perfect event to do with dad leading up to Father’s Day, or with another beloved adult-kid duo! Both the adult and child will receive their own birdhouse to paint.

Couples Make & Mingle
Connect with your sweetheart and other couples over a creative project! We’ll be making pressed flower frames. We’ll provide the pressed flowers and frames, and you can bring a photo to add in if you desire!

Family Night at 57 West Pomfret
The businesses at 57 West Pomfret are teaming up again to host a family event! This month’s theme is Let’s Go To The Beach!
The adults will pour candles at Wick & Pour, while the kids craft at our studio down the hall. Our craft project will be decorating a canvas bag so that kids can carry their items to the beach/pool. After candle pouring and crafts, your family can head down to Eclipse Cafe for a sandwhich, drinks, and games!

Craft + Crime Series (Murder & Macrame)
Calling all true crime fanatics!
We’re kicking off our Crafts + Crime Series with murder & macrame! Lindsey from Why Knot will be guiding us through making a mini wall hanging while we chat about our favorite crime documentaries, podcasts, or books. Lindsey will bring lots of macrame colors to choose from.
This event is for 21+ and is BYOB. Your ticket will include a complimentary glass of wine or a nonalcoholic Izzy.

Crafting and art making have always been a part of my life, and building community has been an important part of my adult life.
My why behind starting HGC is all about helping people to build stronger relationships with each other and themselves.
